[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Tussie Mussies” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Tussie Mussies will be featured again at this year’s Herb Fair.  Our talented and experienced “Tussie Team” will craft these lovely bouquets of fresh flowers and herbs, surrounded by a paper lace doily and finished with a bow and gift tag.

A Tussie Mussie nosegay will take you back to earlier days.  In the Middle Ages, people carried “tuzzy muzzies” as protection against contagious diseases and held herbal bouquets to their noses (“nosegays”) against unpleasant odors of the times.

Victorians practiced the “language of flowers”, turning these bouquets into expressions of their feelings.  Your tussie will contain a variety of meaningful herbs such as:

  • Rosemary for remembrance
  • Sage for good health
  • Thyme for courage
  • Basil for best wishes
  • Lavender for happiness

We also will have for sale a limited supply of the book, Flora’s Dictionary – The Language of Flowers, by herbalist and author Kathleen Gips, a member of the Western Reserve Herb Society.

Come and watch the creation of these unique bouquets.  Purchase one or two for your friends and family, and even one for yourself.  They are guaranteed to put a smile on the face of each lucky recipient![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”12539″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”12540″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
