Wreath making using flowers grown and dried by the WRHS has long been a tradition. This year is no exception. Starting with Northern Bayberry, Boxwood or Artemisia, wreath forms are filled and made ready to decorate. Straw flowers, lavender, yarrow, roses and more are harvested weekly in the garden primarily from the Trial and Cutting section, hung to dry and are used to create beautiful wreaths in a variety or sizes and shapes. Small arrangements are made in baskets and other attic treasures as we celebrate years of floral beauty and the volunteers who create that beauty in the garden. For our “do it yourself” customers, we have bundles of dried flowers for your creations. So, If you are looking for a special touch for your home or the perfect hostess gift, you will not want to miss the Wreath Department when you visit the Herb Fair.
