We sell one-of-a-kind herbal products made here in the Western Reserve from our own gardens.  Visit our 10 different Herb Fair booths:

CREATE

Participate in our hands-on Herbal Workshops, ongoing throughout the day.  Each project costs just $5 and takes only minutes to make. Simple, easy, fun! 

 

LEARN

We offer a variety of “Herb Talks” throughout the day.  Stop by the Herb Fair stage and listen as our members present a number of 10-minute programs about how to grow and use herbs. 

Members at all booths also can provide information about herbal gardening, cooking, blending, and products.  We welcome your questions!

 

TOUR

Step outside and visit our nationally-renowned Herb Garden.  Chat with knowledgeable Herb Society gardeners. Experience the beauty and delightful fragrances as you tour our medicinal, culinary, old roses, dye, trial & cutting, edible flowers, terrace and knot garden sections.

The Herb Fair is free with regular admission to the Cleveland Botanical Garden.  We accept cash, checks and credit cards for Herb Fair purchases.  Proceeds from the Herb Fair support the Western Reserve Herb Society horticultural scholarships, our community education programs, and the maintenance of our Herb Garden.

 

PARKING

Limited paid parking is available in the underground parking garage of the Cleveland Botanical Garden.  Additional paid parking is available in the garages of adjacent institutions, the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Natural History Museum.  On-street parking is free throughout University Circle all day Saturday.

Celebrating herb gardening, crafting and education.

Ten Herb Fair Booths including herb products: culinary, bakery, wreaths and dried arrangements, herbal teas, jams and jellies, garden market, plant sales in the garden, tussie mussies, NEW! Nature’s Bounty Boutique, NEW! Practical Scents.
Herbal Workshops: Make your own Orange Clove Room Spray and Lavender Rose Soothing Salve
“Ask Us” Our members will be happy to answer any questions you have about herbal gardening, cooking and blending and using herbs. Let’s talk herbs. Members at all booths are available to answer all your questions and provide information.
2019 Herb of the Year, Anise Hyssop. Discover how to grow this herb as an excellent pollinator in your garden and how to use Anise Hyssop in teas and confections as an edible flower. See this bee loving herb growing in our Herb Garden.
Free educational programs. Herb Talks given by our members in a casual format will feature information on how to grow and use herbs in various ways. Sample our products, taste and savor! Stop by to learn and enjoy the use and delight of herbs. Programs will last 10 minutes. Topics include: Roses, Aromatherapy, Anise Hyssop, Herbal Wreath Demonstration, Tussie Mussies and Language of Herbs.
Tour our world renowned Herb Garden in the heart of the Cleveland Botanical Garden.

Admission to the Herb Fair is included with your paid regular admission to Cleveland Botanical Garden and this also includes full access to the Botanical Garden, from nine acres of outdoor gardens, including the world renowned Eleanor Armstrong Smith
Glasshouse. Members are admitted free. Credit cards will be accepted.
