We sell one-of-a-kind herbal products made here in the Western Reserve from our own gardens. Visit our 10 different Herb Fair booths:
- Creative Recycling for Home and Garden
- Herbal Teas
- Jams and Jellies
- Nature’s Bounty Boutique (gifts and body care products)
- Practical Scents (Potpourri)
- Outside Plant Sales
- Tussie Mussies
- Wreaths and Dried Arrangements
Participate in our hands-on Herbal Workshops, ongoing throughout the day. Learn how to make Orange Clove Room Spray and Lavender Soothing Salve to take home. Each project costs just $5 and takes only minutes to make. Simple, easy, fun!
We offer a variety of “Herb Talks” throughout the day. Stop by the Herb Fair stage and listen as our members present a number of 10-minute programs about how to grow and use herbs. Topics will include: Roses for Flavor and Fragrance; Aromatherapy 101; Herb of Year – Anise Hyssop; Herbal Wreath Demonstration; Tussie Mussies and the Language of Herbs & Flowers.
Members at all booths also can provide information about herbal gardening, cooking, blending, and products. We welcome your questions!
Step outside and visit our nationally-renowned Herb Garden. Chat with knowledgeable Herb Society gardeners. Experience the beauty and delightful fragrances as you tour our medicinal, culinary, old roses, dye, trial & cutting, edible flowers, terrace and knot garden sections.
The Herb Fair is free with regular admission to the Cleveland Botanical Garden. We accept cash, checks and credit cards for Herb Fair purchases. Proceeds from the Herb Fair support the Western Reserve Herb Society horticultural scholarships, our community education programs, and the maintenance of our Herb Garden.
Limited paid parking is available in the underground parking garage of the Cleveland Botanical Garden. Additional paid parking is available in the garages of adjacent institutions, the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Natural History Museum. On-street parking is free throughout University Circle all day Saturday.
The mission of the Western Reserve Herb Society is to further the knowledge and use of herbs, to contribute the results of members’ research and experience to horticulture and science, and to disseminate this information to the public.
