About This Scholarship

The WRHS Scholarship was launched at our Annual Meeting in 1984. The scholarship was established for undergraduate students majoring in what was then simply called “horticulture” but now we also refer to plant sciences and various other degree and career specializations.

Students enrolled in any accredited college or university within the United States of America were eligible to apply.

Monies voted by the Unit may be added to the fund as well as outside contributions. The scholarship has continued to be awarded on an annual basis to students from across the country.
