Golden Milk

Serving size: 1

Ingredients

1 cup full fat dairy or plant milk; add some coconut oil if your milk is not full fat
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon dried ginger
1 grind fresh black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamon
splash vanilla (optional)
1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey to taste
sprinkle cinnamon to garnish

Instructions

Gently warm your choice of milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Whisk together spices in a small bowl, add to warm milk, and bring to a simmer, not a boil.

Add vanilla and sweetener.

Pour into mug, if necessary strain, if there are any lumps.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and Enjoy!
