Sauerkraut Salad

Satisfies nearly every flavor craving – sour, salty, savory, and sweet.

Ingredients

1 large onion, diced
4 cups (480 grams) sauerkraut, drained
1 cup celery, diced
1 cup green pepper, diced
1 cup carrots diced
1 tablespoon (approximately) caraway seed

Dressing:
2/3 cup cider vinegar
1/3 cup water
1-1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup corn oil

Instructions

Chop all veggies that need chopping,
In a large bowl, toss together all of the salad ingredients.
Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together all of the dressing ingredients.
Drizzle dressing over salad and toss to combine.
Bests if refrigerated several hours before serving.
Store in refrigerator for 4-5 days.
